The Los Angeles County Arts Commission has approved LAE8 for the 2012 Musicians Roster! The only Internet database of vetted musicians in L.A. County, the Musicians Roster primarily serves as a resource for Presenters of Free Concerts in Public Sites, of the rich and diverse talent available to them.
The Arts Commission accepts applications from community organizations interested in producing and marketing a free concert. Eligible organizations include Los Angeles County-based parks, libraries, hospitals, juvenile halls, probation camps, arts organizations, civic centers, senior citizen centers, and other non-profit performance venues. Applicants must be willing to coordinate all logistics, production and marketing of the event, and show that they can effectively bring in an appropriate audience size for their proposed concert to be considered.
Attention L.A. Presenters: Applications for the Free Concerts in Public Sites program are now available and are due on Wednesday, March 7, 2012. Please click the link below to access the application and guidelines for the program.
